Product information
The langoustine is an exclusive shellfish with a refined, slightly sweet taste and a firm, juicy flesh texture. It is instantly recognizable by its robust shell and strikingly long antennae.
Unlike the lobster, the langouste does not have large claws. The meat is found primarily in the muscular abdomen and the tail. Its distinctive appearance, firm texture, and refined taste give the langouste its exclusive character.

Origin
Langoustines live in rocky coastal waters, where they primarily hide among rocks and crevices on the seabed. Our langoustines originate from cold-water regions and are supplied from France to De Meulemeester in Yerseke. This process is carried out with care, always prioritizing the condition and quality of the product. The choice of cold-water langoustines is deliberate: we select our langoustines based on quality, condition, and meat texture.
Other information
With its robust shell and strikingly long antennae, the lobster is a real eye-catcher. A remarkable product that fits perfectly into high-end gastronomy in terms of both taste and presentation.
The langoustine is at its best when prepared relatively simply. By carefully cooking the meat, the juicy texture and refined, slightly sweet flavor are preserved. In this way, the langoustine needs very little to impress on the plate.
