What are you going to do?
As a Buyer at Adri & Zoon, you take responsibility for your own product segment: Shellfish. You are the link between purchasing and sales. On the one hand, you maintain contact with key suppliers. On the other hand, you are actively involved in buying and selling the products.
You also play an important role at a strategic level. You analyze the market and know how to respond to it appropriately. You are responsible for pricing policy, margins, and volume forecasts. You also ensure that colleagues know the applicable prices, current promotions, and where opportunities lie. Additionally, you contribute ideas for expanding and improving the product range, paying attention to price, quality, and sustainability.
In short: with your vision and decisiveness, you are building a strong and future-oriented product portfolio.

What do we ask of you?
You have at least 5 years of work experience in a role as a product manager, buyer, account manager, or something similar;
You are commercially minded, recognize trends, and draw logical conclusions based on facts and data;
You are good at Dutch and French, both spoken and written. Do you speak more languages? That is a nice bonus;
You are presentable, persuasive, and enjoy communicating;
You are ambitious and would potentially be interested in taking over Inge's role (as the face of Adri & Zoon regarding shellfish) in the future;
Do you have an affinity for or prior knowledge of crustaceans and shellfish? That is a plus!
Where will you end up?
You will be joining the Commercial Department of a very personal and ambitious wholesaler of fish, crustaceans, and shellfish. Over the past 41 years, we have grown into a total supplier with a large number of customers in the Benelux, Germany, and France. Yet, we have managed to remain personal—towards the customer, but certainly also towards each other.
